The story of a soldier from the Greatest Generation told through the eyes of his grandson 75 years later. Despite working with him for years, filmmaker Mark Pedri never learned the details of his grandfather’s experiences as a Prisoner of War in WWII. Ten years after Sgt Pedri’s death, Mark found an incredible archive of photos and letters that inspired him to bike over 500 miles across Europe following the original Prisoner of War transportation routes, in an effort to tell his grandfather’s story and better understand the man who helped raise him.
