America’s Warrior Partnership Continues Support for the Veterans One-stop Center of WNY

America’s Warrior Partnership, a national nonprofit that empowers communities to empower their veterans, today announced that the Veterans One-stop Center of WNY, due to its superior performance and service to the veteran community, will receive funding for operations in Western New York. This funding represents a continuation of the Community Integration grant first received by the Veterans One-stop Center of WNY in 2016.

With the $250,000 funding received in 2016, Veterans One-stop Center of WNY was able to serve 3,500 military veterans, including their families and caregivers, with assistance in securing housing, financial counseling, and education resources. The current grant of $187,500 will continue to fund these services.

“Our thanks and gratitude to America’s Warrior Partnership for their continuous support of our mission” says Chuck Marra, President and CEO, Veterans One-stop Center of WNY. “Their support allows us to engage the community and identify and provide services and programs to Western New York veterans and active military members.”

“Such continuing support is necessary for local communities to exper

ience success,” said Cheree Tham, Director of Community Integration for America’s Warrior Partnership. “We want our communities to know that we are committed to them. We work with our community agencies to establish and secure excellent services for our Warriors. Our support goes beyond funding and when we take a community on, we make sure it is both effective in its programs and secure financially.”

Community Integration is a national program of America’s Warrior Partnership that provides resources, training, and guidance to communities, corporations, and nonprofits.
