Peer Support Specialist

Chad Miller

As a 16-year Air Force Veteran, I bring a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to serving my fellow Veterans as a Peer Support Specialist at the Veteran One-stop Center. Originally hailing from Southern Ohio, I have proudly called Clarence, NY, my home since 2012.

Over the past 5 years, I have been actively involved in various Veteran organizations, dedicating my time to making a positive impact in the lives of my comrades. My passion lies in utilizing outdoor recreational therapy to support and uplift fellow Veterans, providing them with meaningful experiences that contribute to their overall well-being.

Having navigated the challenges of military life, I understand the unique struggles that Veterans face upon returning to civilian life. As a Peer Support Specialist, I am committed to creating a supportive and understanding environment for my fellow Veterans, drawing upon my own experiences to offer guidance, empathy, and encouragement.

I am honored to be part of the Veteran One-stop Center, where I can continue my mission of assisting Veterans on their journey to health and resilience. My dedication to the Veteran community is fueled by a genuine desire to make a positive impact, and I look forward to contributing to the well-being of my fellow Veterans through the valuable services provided by the Center.

Peer Support Specialist

Tyrell Gary

Hey there! I’m Tyrell, the newest, and most handsome member of the crew! I was born and raised in northern New Jersey. I was a very timid child that grew up in some harsh environments. This upbringing however made me into the person I am today. I’ve always had a passion for the arts, and a determination to help others around me. I joined the NJ Army Guard with hopes of going to college and serving my community. Down the road I ended up switching over to the Air National Guard and now joining the Veterans One-stop team! My hobbies include digital art, writing, working out, roller skating and fashion. I love to laugh and have a great time. Those closest to me know they can come to me for a good laugh, or for a shoulder to lean on.
