Peer Support Manager
Tim Fleming
Tim Fleming is the Peer Support Manager at the Veterans One-stop Center. He enlisted in the Army Reserve as a Combat Engineer before serving on AGR as a Recruiter & Career Counselor and retired after 25 years. His multiple assignments included a deployment for Operation Enduring Freedom, serving in Kuwait, Qatar, and Afghanistan. He will take the time to talk with and assist his fellow Veterans and ensure they are taken care of. He is quick with a joke but understands the seriousness of assisting fellow Veterans. Married for over 28 years, he is a Dad and Grandpa for 1 (and counting). He strives to balance his professional mission with his role as a family man, committed to make a positive impact both at home and in his community.

Rick Ammerman, NYSCPS-P, is a dedicated Peer Support Specialist certified in New York State. A proud Air Force Veteran, he is committed to empowering and assisting Veterans. Rick draws on his professional training and his personal journey of recovery from alcoholism and trauma to provide empathetic guidance and foster a supportive sense of community for his fellow Vets. Rick is passionate about promoting their resilience and wellness.
