We bring Veterans together in Erie, Niagara, Steuben, and Seneca counties, as well as other areas across New York State. Activities are designed to get Veterans out of the house, try new things, meet new friends, and discover new hobbies and skills. Events include outdoor recreation, social gatherings, volunteer opportunities, wellness activities, skill building workshops and more.

What Experiences Do Our Veterans Get to Enjoy?

Our programs include our annual Lake Placid ski trip, scuba diving certifications and dive trips, skydiving, white water rafting, camping, beekeeping, and other unique outdoor adventures. We also host group dinners, family events, escape rooms, team challenges, and hands-on workshops—and that’s just the beginning.

Our events calendar is the central place to find everything happening at Veterans One-stop Center. It includes our peer support activities, outreach and resource fairs, wellness opportunities, fundraisers, workshops, and more. The calendar makes it simple to filter, register, and stay connected to all of our programs and events in one place.

  • Veteran and family support activities are wonderful. The team works hard to schedule, plan, and execute a wide variety of programs for all ages and ability levels. We have gone sky-diving, on a fall foliage train ride, Candlelight Fort Niagara tour, taken a defensive driving course, and been bowling. This organization has helped us build a diverse community of veterans and family supporters—it is important to share time with folks who understand, honor, and respect the lifelong impacts of serving this nation. Thank you for all you do. Our lives are better because you care about veterans.

  • Standing ovation! I don’t think I’ve ever attended a veterans organization where I’ve made friendships like this! Some of the connections I’ve made will be invaluable. It also helped me better understand myself as a veteran and recognize some of the struggles I currently face, or may soon face, as I approach retirement.
